This is for a design consultation to create the costume of your dreams with me.

One of a kind performance art. 

What you are purchasing: 

• 1 hour consultation (via phone or in person if you are local to Nashville, TN) to review the program music, requests, and do a best color analysis on the skater.

• Afterwards within 3-5 business days, up to 3 digital sketches back and forth until the final design is your dream.  

• Guaranteed slot on the creation calendar. 

• One of a Kind design only for your skater, not to be repeated again.

The fee for this design consultation is not refundable. 

Pricing structure for completed costumes: 

1. {720+ Crystals} Essential Sparkle $1,000+

2. {1,440+ Crystals} Signature Shine $1,500+

3. {2,160+ Crystals} Elite Radiance $2,000+  

4. {2,880+ Crystals} Couture Brilliance $2,500+  

These pricing tiers allow me to create within a budget framework, but does not dull the design potentials- it is a range for the amount & size of crystals that you desire. During the consultation I will show you examples of the levels of crystals, and how much the cost will be. Some skaters want more sparkle, some want only small crystals, some want large crystals, while others prefer a mixture of small and larger. I will always put as many crystals as I can fit within your budget. 

ALL tiers include custom skin tones, custom colors, airbrushing, and unique designs. The more crystals, the higher the final cost to account for creation labor time. I only use high quality fabrics and crystals to ensure maximum comfort and sparkle. 

Payment:

Once the design and sparkle package is chosen, a payment of 50% of the final costume price is required to start work, and the rest is due when the costume is finished. I will send you a link to my website to pay via Paypal. 

One of a Kind:

With purchasing a couture costume from me, this ensures you will be the only skater in the world with your exact piece, because you are commissioning me for a one of a kind design. This requires a high level of creativity and energy from me to ensure you have the best performance art to wear.

Couture costumes take on average 20-40 hours each to complete from beginning to end, depending on the complexity level & amount of crystals. This design is made especially for your skater from concept, to design, to pattern, to sewing, to embellishment, to photos & videos, to status updates and finally to shipment.

Performance art made at the highest level with love & intention. 

A costume is more than something worn- it is part of the performance, an extension of the skater's spirit, and a quiet partner in their confidence on the ice. 

Artistic Integrity:

While I love to consider all requests, please understand that I will stay within Melissa G Designs aesthetic to keep my creations at a certain level. In order to live with artistic integrity, and to respect the work of other artists, I will not copy anyones else's creation. You will have a one of a kind performance art.
